Southwest Airlines announced it will start flying to the new Panama City Airport on May 23rd. It also announced this morning it will also have daily non-stop flights to Orlando, Fl and Houston, Tx. This is in addition to the previously announced Nashville and Washington/Baltimore daily non stop flights..

Grab your beach ball, it’s on! Southwest Airlines brings FUN in the sun to Panama City Beach, Florida! Flights are on sale today for the much-anticipated May 23, 2010, start of service! The Dallas-based airline will offer a better way to the beach with a total of eight daily nonstop departures:

· Panama City Beach (ECP) to/from Nashville (BNA) – two daily flights

· Panama City Beach (ECP) to/from Houston Hobby (HOU) – two daily flights
· Panama City Beach (ECP) to/from Baltimore/Washington (BWI) – two daily flights
· Panama City Beach (ECP) to/from Orlando (MCO) – two daily flights

Southwest is offering these new flights with fares as low as $49 each way to Orlando and $69 each way to Baltimore/Washington, Houston, and Nashville with a 14-day advance purchase (see fare rules below). For more information on the new service see our blog post: blogsouthwest.com.

In addition to the eight daily nonstop flights, Southwest Airlines will offer direct or connecting service to more than 58 destinations from Panama City Beach, including Dallas and Chicago. Southwest Airlines will operate from Gate 3 at the new Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport with approximately 30-35 Employees who will call the region home.

Its official it is already that time of the year again regardless if you are ready for it or not.  Thanksgiving is a little over a week away and Christmas and the News Year is even closer and for most of us and you I am sure we are ready to get the heck out of 2009 and start fresh in 2010.

This year has seen its share of rocky roads throughout the country, Job Loses, People losing their life savings to assholes Like Bernie Madoff and a new story that hit in South Florida about a Lawyer who has also been running a Ponzi scheme that might top the 1 Billion mark by the time the feds are done doing there research on Scott Rothstein who is a local business man located in South Florida allegedly who stole and swindled a lot of money and did not know when to stop.

We had the health reform bill passed but will it actually make a difference for those Americans that need it most?  Time will tell come next year.  Foreclosures are at a all time high throughout the Country and Florida is I believe in the top 7 for the most Foreclosure Homes and Properties which has driven the market down a great deal.

Now in regards to the Sunny Hills Florida community though its not doing great its not doing horrible compared to some other areas out there in Florida.  Prices have down almost 75% in some parts of the community the Sunny Hills Florida area is still a great place to own land with the new Airport in Bay County Florida that is under construction and is set to be completed sometime in April 2010 which this will bring plenty of new Business and residents, workers, and more jobs to this region of Florida which in return will help out the local economy quickly.
